Angie Fowler

Angela Fowler is currently completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Lindenwood University. As the third member of her family to pursue a career in counseling, the field has become much more than just a profession—it is a way of life. Angela is deeply passionate about walking alongside others through life’s challenges, helping them find healing, growth, and meaning in their experiences.

Her therapeutic approach is influenced by Viktor Frankl’s philosophy of existentialism, particularly his belief that while suffering is inevitable, it is through suffering that we find purpose. This empowering concept has shaped both Angela’s personal and professional life, and she is committed to helping her clients experience the same transformation.

Angela is inspired by her husband and daughter, who motivate her to promote emotional health and fulfillment for her family and all those in need of healing. She places a strong emphasis on family systems work, approaching each client’s healing journey as though it were her own. She believes that the answers to personal struggles lie within the individual, and her role is to act as both an equal and a guide in navigating trauma.

Creating a safe, trusting, and authentic therapeutic environment is a priority for Angela. For her, a client is never "just" a client, but a valued human being whose growth and healing are central to her work.

Angela specializes in premarital and marriage counseling, grief, and trauma recovery. She is dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s difficulties, strengthen their relationships, and heal from past wounds. Her goal is to guide each person toward emotional health, fulfillment, and the discovery of meaning and purpose in all aspects of life.
