Counselor & Clinical Associate
Tanner received her Master’s in social work from Washington University in St. Louis. She has experience working with ages 6-100 in grief and bereavement, suicidality and depression, and memory impairments. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into sessions—the connection between thoughts, feelings and actions—but places highest value on the therapeutic relationship. She believes that a safe, empathetic, validating, and empowering environment is essential to the counseling process.
