Liz Konzelman
Graduate Student Intern
My journey into the counseling profession is rooted in a rich tapestry of life experiences, shaping my empathetic and person-centered approach. I've been a wife, mother to two grown kids, a homeschool educator, and a foster parent--roles that have deepened my understanding of the challenges and transitions life can bring.
We all face seasons of uncertainty and struggle. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s ups and downs with courage and self-compassion.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, or simply seeking greater clarity and connection, my goal as a counselor-in-training is to offer a safe and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I work collaboratively with clients to help them connect to their inner strengths, identify what is important to them, and take meaningful steps toward emotional well-being.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Missouri Baptist University. Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy singing, performing in community theater, and spending time in nature with my family.
