Service Description
This class is designed to be a fun and engaging way to help kids develop essential social skills in a safe setting. Each week we will focus on a specific skill. April 13th: Developing a Growth Mindset April 27th: Asking for Help Class will begin with a recipe…Both in the figurative sense and the literal! Your child will work in the kitchen and make themselves a snack that they can enjoy throughout the rest of the class. This activity will build community, incorporate a few academic skills, and set the stage for discussing our focus of the week. Once we are finished in the kitchen, we will clean up, and get to work! The rest of the class will involve games and activities to practice developing our focus skill. At the end of each class, kids will leave with the recipe card for the snack they made, along with a couple of activities to do at home to strengthen our focus skill of the week!
